Issue adding slots to Iteminfo.lua

I've been trying to adjust the slot number on a few in games items. changing the number from 1 to 4

But as soon as i try and launch the client i get an error:

System/ItemInfo.lua:131891: unfinished string near '"...'®?,f"fXf^[,??,'

When i launch the clent all items ether show as an apple or empty icon and the client crashes shortly after.

So what is causing this error and what can i do about it?

I'm using client 2015-11-04a

use visual code to edit your iteminfo (get new copy from the iteminfo first)

open with notepad ++

I've tried Notepad++ as well as Visual Code and SublimeText2. I still get the same error when i save any changes even if that change is something as simple as changing spacing or adding a note.

But it doesn't seem to affect the card limit i changes on the server itself.

Only what shows up visually for the client so i'm not to worried about it right now. but it will affect my ability to add custom items.

Visual Code

File > Preferences > Settings

under 

// Place your settings in this file to overwrite the default settings

in the right copy paste this

{
    "files.encoding": "utf8",
    "files.autoGuessEncoding": true
}

Save > restart Visual Code

now you wont get any error (just first get new copy of iteminfo)
