i think you can add or remove those markes in data\luafiles514\lua files\signboardlist.lub / lua

you can change/edit/remove them in System/Towninfo.lub

 

 

ex:

mapNPCInfoTable = {
	prontera = {
		{ name = [=[Kafra Employee]=], X = 146, Y = 89, TYPE = 6, },
		{ name = [=[Kafra Employee]=], X = 150, Y = 35, TYPE = 6, },

This only removed the icon from the mini-map.
