2013-08-07aRagexe_patched does not start

I followed this tutorial: http://rathenaguides.blogspot.it/2014/05/guide-for-making-your-own-ragnarok_14.html

 

to setup client side for my server.

 

However, when i try opening the game through loki launcher, always an error pops up with some impossible to translate error...

I attach to the message the error screensohot..

 

What to do to solve this problem?

 

If i open the game through 2013-07-08.exe (which i found in the client i downloaded):

- the game starts, it connects, let me login, go to char select, and when i click on it to login to the map it says "refused by server" with error: "Unknown packet version (p:0x5031,01:19)" 

 

So what to do?

Im guessing its the packet obfuscation support 

src\config\core.h and find this

#define PACKET_OBFUSCATION

and change it to this

//#define PACKET_OBFUSCATION

save and recompile your server.

But I don't get it..

 

I mean, should I download the "2013-08-07aRagexe_patched.exe" and rename it Rageze.exe and then open the game by file named "2013-08-07.exe" which was already in the game client?

 

But the file that was already in the game could not be patched, if i try to "patch" it, returns lot of errors..

 

I'm confused.

So now the "original" 2013-08-07.exe" i can connect to the game, but, all the diffs I applied to the "2013-08-07aRagexe.exe" does not apply....

 

And if i try to open "2013-08-07aRagexe.exe" through Loki Launcher, yet, always that damned error closing the client.

 

Also another question... this is RO 1, not RO2, and the "graphics" of the game, actually sucks, it's all pixelated, and the camera angle could not be moved, it's fixed..

Wasn't rathena a RO2 server?

1. You can use the server function to find some useful guides about client setup.

2. Sucks? LOL what sucks about pixel graphics? maybe you cant appreciate them at all ahaha.

3. rAthena is RO 1 emulator not an RO 2 emulator. Maybe read the guide first before expecting the things you should expect

If Pixel graphics sucks then MINECRAFT SUCKS HARDCORE. I wonder why minecraft was made that much pixelated though.
