Do I have to run the Thor Patcher in my RO folder or can I run it in a separate folder? Error still occurring.. Anyone know what my problem is? I have teamviewer or aim if anyone needs to contact me.

Lol, it doesn't really tell me what to do o_o.. The patcher still says failed to communicate with server. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with it. Is it mandatory that I have a website for it to work? The error I get, the patchers says "Failed to communicate with server" bug report says: " exception number 1 exception class EAccessViolation exception messsage Access violation at address 005140E7 in module "Thor.exe" read of address 00000010. Any ideas what I have to do to fix? No one knows?

I'm attempting to install Thor Patcher, but not exactly sure how to. Is there any tutorials on how to do this or can anyone guide me through it? Thanks No one knows? Does anyone know any patchers I can use? I want to be able to play with my friend.. Any help?

well download the thor patcher then in the conf.ini edit ur settings its all given there.. then use the config_packer.exe and locate the patch.exe in the patcher folder patch it! now on ur webhost make a folder with the name the name u gave in the in confi.ini . inside that make a folder name data [all ur updates will go here]. upload the files of WEB folder given in the thor patch folder u downloaded. files: plist : the thor patcher uses this list to download the patches put it like this 1 update.thor 2 update2.thor notice.html is the file ur patcher displays on main window when it opens main.ini is the file u have to conf u can see everything inside and u are ready to use it.

Hey dont waste your time in using jikari there are better patchers out there .one of thoes are Thor Patcher because its easy to use .i have this issue before that the patchlist.txt doesnt read by the patcher it always fails like 5 or 10 times .

i mean.. the grf is succesfully to make it as .grf ... and my thor maker also succesfully to make it as thor file.. but when i using thor patcher update, it will stucked at the "saving resources" .. cant be start the game

no.. bcause im using thor maker to make a grf.. the thor patcher must need all korean words so my client will succesfully run

Wäre nice Tepoo, den die meisten versagen einfach weil sie noch nie von Grund auf Compilen und oft nur fertiges nutzen. Das ist natürlich schwerer als fertige Packs zu nehmen. Das wichtigste ist halt in einem Tutorial für Anfänger - Installation von Visual C++ (reicht aus, falls man selber compilen will) - Compilen mit C++ und das richtige Starten. - Installation von MySQL Server - Mysql Management, da eignet sich XAMPP für anfänger mit phpmyadmin. Besser ist natürlich mit Tools wie Navicat zu arbeiten. Erleichtern ne menge ^^ - Basic Server Einstellungen ( IP-Bindings [Wie Local | Wie Public] , Mysql Settings, Rates [berechnungen, Spielraum der Rates für Low-Mid-High-SHigh Rate server]) - Client Auswahl Das wäre eig wirklich das nötigste, für den Rest wie Customs einfügen, muss man einfach wirklich lust und Spaß am Projekt haben sodass man sich mehr mühe gibt mit den Englischen Tutorials genau so gut klar zu kommen. Ausnahme Tutorial für den Thor Patcher..viele, sehr sehr viele, die ich kenne haben Probleme damit den aufzusetzen.. ich hatte auch anfangs Probleme, aber dennoch es ist nicht direkt verständlich, vor allem für Anfänger. @BTT: Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht würde ich mich auch noch melden per TeamViewer einen blick drauf zu werfen.

As the title says id like to seek assistance from you rathena pro's id like to make a patch which is most likely on the data folder which in particular are the ff. idnum2itemdesctable.txt idnum2itemdisplaynametable.txt idnum2itemresnametable.txt i already have the thor patcher ready and working, the problem is i dont know how make use of patching files xD i simply need to change the details so i need it to be patched instead of redownloading the whole client which will be annoying to my players. hope you can walk me through thanks! Я так понимаю, у тебя сейчас полный, чистый клиент. Тебе нужно скачать вот это http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/ . Установить пакетверсию в mmo.h, рекомпильнуть сервер и можешь играть. Для патчера советую использовать Thor Patcher: thor.aeomin.net

I have put the web folders in www, configured main and config and I Configed imbender and I still have failed to connect to server when oppening thor patcher.. Oh nvm I fixed it ! Thank you Asura
