  1. Yeah, it's definitely a missing textures problem. Textures appear blank in browedit if it can't be found.

    example here; I renamed the ToT3.tga texture into something that browedit isn't supposed to find/look for. The result is a blank texture.

    As you can see, a large part of your map looks like that, so your iRO data does clearly miss something that the kRO data doesn't.

     

     

    ....Ah, got it~ the missing textures in your iRO data grf seems to be the "oldcastle" folder.

    Extract the content in the attachment it in your/iROs data/texture folder.

     

    Could you please report back if this has fixed your problem? Thank you. :)

  2. I like how it looks. Clean and cute, not too crowed either.

    The only thing that comes to my attention to give criticism feedback on is the top banner (background) image. It's absolutely beautifully done but the whole design looks chibi-themed, except for that part. :P

    But overall, a very nice design~ 8/10

     

    Psst, you misspelled "Give". (2nd row in the Top sites part)  /lv  :D

  3. Good day everyone. :)

     

    A few are aware that this map was in my a pending project of mine. I've had my ups and downs with this. I like how the models (Hylian Shield and Master Sword) turned out, but the oblique tiles (at the stairs for example) were impossible to archive with Browedit. To make the map look exact was (despite the little details it has) harder than I thought.

     

    Perhaps the lightning is a bit too dark, and there are too little details, but that was done on purpose.

    I've already added a fair share of variety (objects and textures) that shouldn't have been there, to make it look less plain, but overdoing it imo would ruin the concept and make it unrecognizable.

     

    This map contains 9 custom textures and 3 custom models.

     

    I'd release it, but in all honesty I don't know who'd possible want a map from another game in their server which has absolutely nothing to do with RO.  :P

  4. This is a interesting question, another member happened to ask me the same not too long ago. I told him that I'd personally avoid going past 200x200 due to that size being the largest map(s) in RO (aru_gld, bat_a01), so you're certain that you're save.

    If no one has a answer on this, it's definitely worthwhile to test if we could go past that size. Of course, only unless someone else knows. (Olrox?)

  5. Indeed, what Chiron says, you haven't properly set the path(s) in Browedit/data/config/ro.xml

     

    Personalize the following lines:

        <ro directory="C:\Path\to\your\RO\directory\">
            <grf>C:\Path\to\your\RO\directory\data.grf</grf>

  6. So far I'm aware, only the third maps are of importance. With what I am referring to new_1-3, new_2-3, new_3-3, new_4-3, and new_5-3.

    These maps are a part of the monster difficulty test in the training ground script, each map contains harder monsters. As for the remaining duplicates, I am not too sure about.

  7. You mean the display image and inventory sprite, correct? Is your custom valkyrie armor already added into your server?

     

    If yes, all you need to do for that is open idnum2itemresnametable, locate ID #2301, and replace the #ÄÚÆ°¼ÅÃ÷# after it with #yourspritename#.
