  1. Well actually, when I opened up my eathena.grf, the clientinfo.xml was there. So should i rename it ?
  2. Alright i port forwarded, what should i do now. Before i port forwarded I set all my ips in the .conf files to 127.0.0.1 as well as the clientinfo.xml. What should i do now? Do i set up my LAN ip and my No-ip in the .conf files and run it?
  3. Hmm, I want to make an invisible hat but I'm not so sure how. Like. What would the view ID be, do i need to add .spr and .act files? o-o
  4. wait what do you mean by "using eAthena in your localhost"? and how would i foward ports? tutorial please ;_; xD EDIT: ALRIGHT I PORT FORWARDED. Now what?
  5. Yeah i was going to try port fowarding after i got this part, but I never got through it. Alright Let me try to change the address to my lan ip.~ Edit: Do i have to port foward before changing it? because it still causes the same problem. it ends up saying "Failed to connect to server"; compared to the one with the <address> as 127.0.0.1 </address>
  6. I can't really connect at all. I want to try and make this go online and i used a guide for it too, but no luck. char_athena.conf // Athena Character configuration file. // Note: "Comments" are all text on the right side of a double slash "//" // Whatever text is commented will not be parsed by the servers, and serves // only as information/reference. // Server Communication username and password. userid: ragnarok passwd: ragnarok // Server name, use alternative character such as ASCII 160 for spaces. // NOTE: Do not use spaces in the name, or guild emblems won't work client-side! server_name: Excalibur // Wisp name for server: used to send wisp from server to players (between 4 to 23 characters) wisp_server_name: Server // Login Server IP // The character server connects to the login server using this IP address. // NOTE: This is useful when you are running behind a firewall or are on // a machine with multiple interfaces. login_ip: 192.168.1.67 // The character server listens on the interface with this IP address. // NOTE: This allows you to run multiple servers on multiple interfaces // while using the same ports for each server. //bind_ip: 127.0.0.1 // Login Server Port login_port: 6900 // Character Server IP // The IP address which clients will use to connect. // Set this to what your server's public IP address is. char_ip: excaliburro.serveftp.com // Character Server Port char_port: 6121 //Time-stamp format which will be printed before all messages. //Can at most be 20 characters long. //Common formats: // %I:%M:%S %p (hour:minute:second 12 hour, AM/PM format) // %H:%M:%S (hour:minute:second, 24 hour format) // %d/%b/%Y (day/Month/year) //For full format information, consult the strftime() manual. //timestamp_format: [%d/%b %H:%M] //If redirected output contains escape sequences (color codes) stdout_with_ansisequence: no //Makes server output more silent by ommitting certain types of messages: //1: Hide Information messages //2: Hide Status messages //4: Hide Notice Messages //8: Hide Warning Messages //16: Hide Error and SQL Error messages. //32: Hide Debug Messages //Example: "console_silent: 7" Hides information, status and notice messages (1+2+4) console_silent: 0 // Console Commands // Allow for console commands to be used on/off // This prevents usage of >& log.file console: off // Option to force a player to create an e-mail. // If a player have default e-mail, and if you activate this option, the player can only connect in the game (to arrive on a map) like follow: // - Create at least 1 character // - Select 1 character // - Select DEL to enter his/her e-mail.
