I have went over the guide. I put the data files in my grf and repacked. Then put the client in the folder. I can load my server and login. Everything works fine until I try to swich characters or log out. then I get two errors: ChatWndInfo_U and OptionInfo. Peopleperson49

I have downloaded the 7z client and data package, however, even that is bugged. The optioninfo and chatwindinfo gives me errors. Is there not one good one out there? Peopleperson49

All I did was just change REMODE to 0. Was there something else I was spost to do? Peopleperson49

When you diff a client you need that information. I have a running server, I have everything every guide says I need. I have working grf files. But for some reason I can't get a client that works properly. Once client wont display any skill info. Another client gets another error. Just one never ending error after another. Peopleperson49

Linux. I only have that problem with REMODE in 0. As soon as it change it back to 1 it compiles just fine. Peopleperson49

When I change the REMODE to 1 and recompile it says map-server_sql does not exist or cannot run. Stop. Check your compile. Peopleperson49

For some reason I can't get the client to work. I patched it using your shin's diff patcher, but when I put it in my files to run it I get get several errors: Load MapInfoTable failed. ResetTheHotKey attempt to call a nil value. queryRegionInfo attempt to call a nil value.

Is there a non-turret version of this program I can download? Peopleperson49

I'm currently updating my eAthena server to rAthena, but I'm hitting some bumps in the road. I tried to find a guide, but that didn't work out. I understand that there is a re and pre-re folders for the db files. I have updated all the files in the folders that the original files were in. But there is no mob_skill_db2 file at all. Also my mob_db2 folder isn't detected at all. I tried putting them in the specific pre-re folders, but that had no effect. Also how do I tell it if I want to use the re or pre-re db? I used to be able to assisgn gm permission levels to commands using the atcommand_athena.conf file, but where do I do that on rAthena? If theres anything else somebody figures I need to know that would be great! Thanks. Peopleperson49

I was think that I might make the cast unintruptable (outside of woe) and then reduce the characters defense to 0 while casting. Peopleperson49

I was thinking something like the client pulls the files from the server as it needs them, but I guess that would take too long and probably cause lag. Thanks for reply. Peopleperosn49

So far no LUA client has worked as its spost to with me! I have updated them with no errors, but it still manages to surprize me. The problem is that I'm using the same client I used when I ran my last server in 2008. I think it was early in the LUA scene, lol. I have tried unsuccessfully many times (atleast 50 times today) and I can't seem to get another one to work. I'm using the latest LUA files from here with my old client. But even when I restore my previous files from my last server, I still have the problem now. Unless somebody is willing to make me a working client then I'm probaby stuck with this one until I get lucky enought to get another one to work. Just today I download every one from the SVN release, created on with the diff located on rAthena, and tried various other ones. None of them worked. I downloaded HDD Hex Editor Neo and tried to work with that. The diff here might be because I'm running non-renewal eAthena version (don't tell anybody, lol). I just havn't got around to switching to rAthena yet. I am out of options as far as I can tell. What I really want is a x-ray type client that doesn't use LUA files!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for you time. I'm getting no LUA errors when I login, however, whenever I look at any skill discription I get a GetSkillDiscript error: "[string "buf":205: bad argument #2 to 'find' (string expected, got nil)". I made no modifications before this error, however, I deleted all my files including the LUA, client, and installed ragfiles and started from scratch prior to initally getting the error. I get the error still, and I know that that backup version did not have that issue before. Any ideas? Peopleperson49

Whats the latest client that I can use that doesn't use the annoying LUA files. I finally found out how to update them, but I always seem to encounter a new error on a new day. Personally I like the old style better! Also if I take a client from somewhere like SVN release how do I get it to show my servers name instead of the default version name it already has? Thanks. Anybody know where I can download the latest RO files at? I need updated data and rdata information. I can't find any updated files or any that have working patchers for that matter. Thanks. Peopleperson49
