Is there a guide for basic stuff such as setting up gm levels or just plain setup of the re vs pre-re? I came from eAthena and I have had to create several different forums just to find out stuff that seems pretty simple after the fact. As for the gm levels I must say that I like that style so much better! Does rAthena support all the gm commands that eAthena supported? Such as dye, haircolor, etc... I chose rAthena because it was progressive and as much as it pains me the support for eAthena has pretty much stopped compared to what it used to be. Peopleperson49

I am able to hex the RAthena client with both Neo Hex Editor and OllyDbg to change the window text. However, following all guides that I have found they say to search for data.ini and replace it. Neither of those programs can find a data.ini. Any ideas? Peopleperson49

The color palletes provided with this client, do they work for the 3rd classes as well? Peopleperson49

I really don't know what there is to mess up? Search for all refreenced string tests brings up a new box. Then you right click in the box and select search texts. Then you type in data.ini. Execpt it tells me Item not found.

I have to figure this out somehow, I can't have a "professional" server with my client title saying Ragnarok Test Server"! I'm following that guide you gave me exactly! It's not working however.

Yea Shin's may be a quick fix, but it doesn't work for me. I can get the name and exe set and load my sign-in screen. But as soon at it trys to load the character selection screen i get a gravity handler error and it crashes. How much work is it to hex those 4 things? As for the OllyDbg it tells me to load the client. Right click on the first block and click search for --> all referenced string texts. Once that gets done it says search for texts. I type in data.ini and get nothing.

Really, would I be able to use the Shin's diff patcher to do it?

The files to be RoUG.exe Window title to be Ragnarok Underground (RoUG) read from RoUG.ini RoUG.xml I would love to learn this myself right now, but I'm already exremly frustated. However, you seem to be helping me out greatly and again thanks! I'm currently trying to do it myself with the OllyDbg. I hit a bump when the guild tells me search for text to locate data.ini. It doesn't come up what the guide shows.

Any change you can diff that for me? My heads about to explode. However, I do need to learn to do it on my own anyway... Peopleperson49

Thanks for the guild the UAC will be disabled the next time I restart my computer. Is it going to be that way for anybody who plays on my server? I don't get that with other servers. Peopleperson49

That setup.exe works great! Thanks. How about diffing the client to read my .ini instead of the defaut data.ini? And chaningin the client name to my server name? I'm glad you have patience! Peopleperson49

Which setup do I use? Whats it talking about? Setup_HKLM_to_HKCU.diff : This diff is for Setup.exe when you have patched you Ragnarok Executable with [Fix]_HKLM_to_HKCU diff. You can use it with k3dt's patcher. Setup.Exe : Original Setup.exe file. Setup_patched.exe : Setup.Exe patched with HKLM_to_HKCU diff.

I must have slipped on the BlackICE. It told me: Windows cannot find 'UAC'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Peopleperson49

A couple other questions since you seem to know a lot about this client. Am I able to adjust the screen size with this client? How do I diff it so that I can make it my server name, read my file.ini, and call it myserver.exe? Peopleperson49

I'm attempting to use this client and data files, but having errors when switching character or logging out. Upon doing so I get two error: ChatWndInfo_U and OptionInfo errors. Both of which files would be located in the data folder itself. They are there and been verified. Peopleperosn49

Where does Judas want me to go? I though this was client support? How do I run it in admin mode?

That screenshot you showed me. Those two files there at the end are exact two that are erroring. I see that I need them now. However, I just double checked and they are not included in what I downloaded. Peopleperson49
