Hello rathena,

I would like to ask a very interesting script called.... "the jackpot"

Heres how it should work:

Checks for 2 red potion upon talking to the npc. When carrying atleast 2 red potuons, proceed on betting.

Betting = 2 red potions = 1 entry. Has to be 1 entry per character.

The number of bets/red potions accumulates. Say 20 people placed their bets. The pot is equivalent to 40 red potions to be won by the jackpot draw winner.

Winning draw evry 6 hours.

Character that placed a bet needs to be online. If his bet has drawn and his not online, announces, the jackpot has not been claimed.

If jackpot not claimed, adds to the next set of drawing so it starts now with 40 red pots.

If online better wins, please announce. Jackpot winner is name!!

Regardless if the jackpot is won or not, your bets becomes invalid. So people need to bet again to entry.

How to distinguish you entry?

Player a bets = number 1(name of entry)

Player b bets = number 2 (name of entry)

Player c bets = number 3 (name of entry)

Player d bets = number 4 (name of entry)

Player e bets = number 5(name of entry)

Jackpot recieves the pot through the same npc by talking to it.

Winner should not be on autotrade

Why not just let it go as long as people keep guessing until somebody gets the number correct? Every guess is two potions and some people will pick the same number as others so the pot will actually build. I suggest elimiating the 6 hour requirment and let it start another as soon somebody wins the pot. Anyways I don't have time to script it, but whoever does I offer those suggestions.

actually, about the part where the potions build up in stock

why not just gives to another online character instead of get it build up in a server variable ?
