Adding custom = causes crash + no image :(

Hey guyz i have this real big problem. Been working on it for the past 4 days and yet no clue on wats happening :( i googled all over the place for a solution but i dont understand wats wrong T_T : 1st after adding the sprite and every thing>this shows up ingame

You probably searched for the wrong keywords. I found this within a second:

As an addition (since that isn't mentioned in that link) also remember to add your sprite in your idnum2itemresnametable.txt


 


Please try to apply the methods provided and report back if that has resolved your problem.

Nope :( i used everything but in the other issues mensiond in ur link, the game doesnt crash as soon as i click on the sprite..Mine does T_T

Hence why I also mentioned to make sure your sprite is added into the idnum2itemresnametable.txt, because that's what causing the crash.

Although, that only works flawless if your sprite image is in data/texture/À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º/item

in your name spirite is error :)

try to check idnum2itemresnametable.txt ..

 

Can you screenshot your sprite data placement and placement in a txt file ?

 

sometimes people still wrong in naming sprites :)

@Nijara yea i did i even had num2display for unidentified ones just like the one on custom items of wiki. then it suddenly says Decompile lub to lua then compile bak to lub = i went blank T_T

 

@Nostafu i named the files correctly i think its all right for all i know its just that it doesnt read the sprite? that causes the error :(

and that i should rather try sprite replacement? >.< i really wanna fix this T_T

@kitty the latest clients dont have idnum tables. so i had to comiple iteminfo.lua to lub thats it :)
