Setup.exe -> Dont Work

Hi,

when i change in the Setup.exe something, nothing happened to my Client. The Window ist 640x480.

 

What is wrong?

edit the data/msgstringtable.txt:

 

In order for you to get the actual tab working, you would need to get an updated msgstringtable.txt. If you wish to change what's written in your tabs, find these lines:

• Line: 1466 = Usable Items
• Line: 1472 = Etc. Items
• Line: 2051 = Equipment
• and Line: 2052 = Personal/Favourite Tab

 

EDIT: or just use mine.. I changed mine to U, E, Q, F msgstringtable.txt

You have to run it with admin permissions.

i run it with as admin. Nothing change?

Find dinput.ini in your main RO directory. Find the following code below and change the Width and Height resolution. Save the file and run the RO executable file.

 

WindowWidth =1280
WindowHeight =1024

Dont work, but i download a new Client Folder and now it works.

 

Other Question:

 

Why cant i change ingame the windows size from inventory?

That window height depends on the names of the tabs.

 

Change Equipment and Individual to something like Equip and Indiv and it'll shorten it.
