Client wont load after patcher is done...

When I put my full installer on a computer I keep running into the issue where it just wont seem to load it. The thor patcher will load and patch normally. When you click start it will show the thinking symbol for a second then go away. Nothing happens after that point. I thought it wasn't working at all, but if you check the task manager its listed under processes, but not applications. You can repeat this over and over and each time you will just add another yourclient.exe to the processes. I tried waiting for a period of time to see if it loaded, nothing happened. I tried increasing the priority, nothing happened. I ran as administrator, nothing happened. I looked through my UAC controls, but didn't find anything to actually disable them. I think it might be a permissions issue. I know for sure it happened on a windows vista and 7 platform. Thanks.

that mostly happens when something in the client is setted wrong , like clientinfo or one of txt tables etc . then he wont load the client

you can turn off the User Account Control in your system Tab .

Start---> SYSTEM ----> Useraccount------> And select your Main Useraccount then you can see the button Turn of User Account Control.

I believe that is does have something to do with the stupid UAC. However I have made several installers and never had this problem before when installing them. Below ismy clientinfo. Thanks I hope this helps!

Edit: I just realized that the section about <version>20</version> does not match the same packet version number of my game. Would that make a difference?

nope clientinfo.xml is only for displaying infos and the right connection to the login server

I tried copying all the files directly from my computer and putting them on the new computer. I get the exact same effect and I know those files work. I also disabled the UAC controls completely. I still have the same issues. That clientinfo you provided didn't do anything.

I found out the problem is in the blue ghost setup.exe. I'm not sure exactly what yet, but its either the graphics setting or the full screen option. Maybe I need a different setup.exe for 2011 clients.

After much testing it seems for most people they have to run the setup as administrator and change it from the 3D Hal to their video card and it seems to fix the issue. Other it just works fine as it is? Is there a way to get it to auto select the video card or is there a bigger problem here?
