Some are very expensive and some not so much. I understand that Install Creator Pro works fairly well for installers under 2gb, but what happens when you want to create one over that? Well I looked up several that support larger files, but they tend to be pricey. However, my suggestion is to start a installer fund here on rA where people could donate towards that certain goal. When that goal is reached rA could purchase a license (shared is best so more than one dev can have it) and every month somebody could make a single full version of the latest files. That would eliminate the 3 or 7 or 14 or whatever part downloads. I'm not saying just jump into anything, but if this idea is considered on some level then I suggest that somebody (of authority on rA) take this by the horns and do the necessary research to see if its worth it. It could even contain the latest fulldata files so have it modify the data.ini to include a fulldata.grf also. The possiblities are pretty much endless. I have tried atleast four times now to make an installer for the entire RO folder. It always fails because the file is larger than 2.1gb. I created my mini-installer worked just fine, however I think I perfer using Install Creator Pro over Inno. Unless I'm doing something wrong then InnoSetup doesn't fit what I was hoping for. I wanted a way to put the entire RO folder in one compressed installer. Peopleperson49

It compresses it down to about 2Gb. I don't have the time to dedicate toward making a new full KRO/renewal installer every month, but it wouldn't be a bad idea for somebody to do. This sounds kind of like what CalciumKid had been doing with the Miruku client. I forget which program he used to make the multi-part installer that had 3 .cab files). I can make one easily with Smart Install Maker. Works great for my full installer in one part. Compression of around 2.7Gb is like 2Gb. Like Brian said, the installer would have to utilize multiple cab files for it to work.

That one is very very expensive but also can compress 12Gb down to 4Gb. Don't remember the name but I don't suggest it. My Full Installer is 2.7Gb and it is only one file. DiskSpanning = yes This is for InnoSetup Edited January 19, 2013 by Feefty
