Hi guys-

I've been there.. here and back. But cant seem to get this to work. Ive dealt with other routers before and didnt have this situation. Is it possible to use the Bayantel DSL ZXV10 W300S modem/router?

NOTICED discrepancy in WAN IP address.

The router shows u your WAN IP and you can ping it.

IPCHICKEN and other lookup sites gives you an IP ADDRESS you cannot event ping.

So im thinking.. what's making this so hard? Any idea?

you should have a static IP and port forward it

thats not the problem. madali lang makita static. Problema ipchicken, whatismyip and other ip lookups show I have say 1.2.3.4.5 ip address pero sa modem it shows 6.7.8.9.1 - examples lang yan ah. but I hope you get the point. Is it possible to host under bayantel?

Ok ganito ang WanIP mo is ung nsa Whatismyip then ung nasa router mong wanip is range

so ang ibig sbhn nito.. nka Dynamic IP ko.. so everytime na mag cchange ng ip ung router mo ang Range nya is 100.x.xx.101 to 110.xx.x.62 so means kpag ng pplit ng ip ung router mo or ung wan mo yan ung mga ranges nya pero ang ggmitin mo is ung nsa whatismyip getz mo ba ibig kong sbhn?

maski yang WANIP sa whatismyip. naka no-ip service ako so any changes madali lang. pero yang ip address na sa WANIP ko ^^, di yan nag chchange pero ung WAN IP sa router page nag chachange :) odiba saya?

ayan failed parin. di sha mag open sa net..

I can connect no problem but the WAN side is my problem.

Has anyone successfully setup with BayantelDSL with this>>

same as globe. sometime my WAN IP not match on whatismyip and on my router.

best solution for here is, use NAT connection. try to use VMware then NAT connection. but you need to setup some port forwarding on it.

try it.

I got my ports opened. Called the ISP. Tama sabi ko naka NAT ung subscribers. Meaning

ISP >> NAT >> modem/router >> nat

LOL dobol dobol firewall.

resolution..

ISP >> modem/router >> nat

Topic Starter's point is this...

He wants to start a server in his pc. Since in Philippines, most of all connections are dynamic, port forwarding a big help for it to go on public. Now his problem, his ADSL is giving an ip which is different with router and when he wants to know his current external IP using sites like http://whatismyip.net/ . it gives different external IP again from what ASDL and router has. Now, as i pm him, i told him to consult his ISP about it. As i can tell, its ISP isn't configured well with its router.

I Encounter this problem years ago before rAthena even started. But the problem is this Topic Starter uses Bayantel as ISP and mine is PLDT.

Thats all i can tell~

@ TS

Good Luck~

EDIT:

And Please Stop suggesting to get VPS. He is still trying to make it worked in his pc which is Free and only done to Test not for Public used yet~

Using my 768kbps internet and can hold up to 50 players with my 1gb Pentium 4 3.0Ghz.
