Replacing a Map

Hello guys, I have a question about custom Prontera map.

The question is, do I still need to add new map in map_index.txt and maps_eathena.conf?

If yes, then what is the map name to be add?

My new custom prontera map file name is :

prontera001.rsw

prontera001.gat

prontera001.gnd

and is it should be like this?

trunk/db/map_index.txt :

//======================================================================================
//Place your custom maps with a starting ID here.
//======================================================================================
//Example:
//
//mymap	1250
//mymap-2

custom_prontera	  1250 // < this previous prontera map (Valentine theme)
prontera001	1251 // <this is the new map

and

trunk/conf/maps_eathena.conf :

//Custom Map

map: custom_prontera
map: prontera001

You need to save your prontera001.rsw into prontera.rsw or custom_prontera.rsw (Not sure why you using this) in BrowEdit and no need of new line in map db / maps conf. If you uses custom_prontera.rsw instead you will have to move/duplicate all npc from prontera to custom_prontera btw.

I changed the map name to Prontera. I also added lightmaps since the map was missing it.

Yes I'm using WeeMapCache

I changed the map name to Prontera. I also added lightmaps since the map was missing it.

But I still have some roof from previous custom map. How to get rid of those?

What about the warper to enter the church and some place to get into prt_in? Do I need to re-coordinate the npc's?

And the minimap also doesn't change. I've already insert the minimap into data exture\map

1. Did you replace the texture files default in prontera?

2. If the map is only re-texture, you don't have to re-script those warp since the map did not change coordinate you just re-colored them.

So, after you said that, I believe that I need to change the NPC's coordinate right?
