base on what you post, I think your not compiling, your updating your svn

hmm, I kinda forgot the command in Centos. In Ubuntu, it's:

 sudo apt-get update 

and

 sudo apt-get upgrade 

In Centos, it might be:

 su yum update

Maybe, you will face a problem, if you are using Centos 6.2.
