My server does not read inter_athena.conf.

it always trys to start with the default settings out of inter_athena.conf not the settings i put in, and in the first error it tries to access mysql with the user i logged in in putty without a passwort.....

This doenst change a thing, tried it

and what should change if i say him he should use sql db instead of the txt when the server dont reads the inter_athena.conf?

didnt change anything in the login_athena.conf wasnt mentioned in the guide at the wiki...

except if i did change ports but i didnt changed ports...

tried it with just naming everthing ragnarok, db, user, pw and so on still get the access denied error.....

gone step by step through the guide at the wiki several times now....

Have a look at this post, it should explain what's wrong and how to fix it.

However, you're right, the servers don't seem to be reading your inter_athena.conf file.. what SVN revision are you using, and have you added anything to the import/ folder?

Im using CentOS on my Server and created a user in mysql like this guide in the wiki describes http://rathena.org/w...ase_for_rAthena

im using 16724 at least the server says so when i trie to start him

installed via svn checkout https://rathena.svn..../rathena/trunk/ ~/trunk

like the guide says and i tried with wrting everything in the import folder and i tried with just deleting the import folder.....

You need to use MySQL Administration Tools to give your SQL Login name 'Ragnarok' accesses to schema 'Ragnarok'.

Already did that.....

I mean this time its not the ragnarok user, because in general i dont want to use the default thing, tried it before with raganarok but was jsut the same just another name......

yep, use this setting. also,

open putty, then:

mysql -u root -p

then, type:

FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

then:

exit;

and try starting the server again
