Thor Patcher Proposal

Heya all, I have been questioned many times how to fix the problem antivirus falsely reporting thor patcher as virus (those bas%$#^).

So I figured the easiest solution would be separate configuration data instead embed into the patcher. I know it's not the way thor patcher use to be, but I think it's not bad idea after all.

To continue provide conflict-free among servers, the config file will have the same filename except the extension as the patcher.

This is just a mere separation of data stream, so all your fancy button images what not will also be in this new config file.

So cast your vote. If you choose "other" though, please reply your thought.

Yeah, i always liked thor patcher.. And with this mod it would become much better, lots of ppl dont use thor cause of the some antivirus problems.

It would also be easier to update the patcher, I guess we would only need to update the data streams and images correct? You would also separete the images from the patcher correct?

Well Aeomin I'll give some reviews of thor patcher.

- Put support for replay

- Thor patcher accept accents of a more practical

- Support the deletion of files within the grf.

I think the deletion of files from within the GRF (getting it to work 100%) would be beneficial. With this new "separation" you're suggesting, Would that fix the deletion problem?

Correct, which also means I can probably make it reload configuration on spot without relaunch patcher!

accents? You mean in languages? You should able to by use unicode, unless that's broken...

No, this would not improve file deletion, but that feature will definitely get improved by a new thormaker.
