When I press "del" to delete a character.. it doesnt ask for birthdate or email.. it just deletes the character that instant.

Any way to fix it or go around it?

Thanks.

conf/char_athena.conf

// Amount of time in seconds by which the character deletion is delayed.

// Default: 86400 (24 hours)

// NOTE: Requires client 2010-08-03aragexeRE or newer.

char_del_delay: 86400

#maybe your's was set to 0 that's why it deletes the character in an instant

yep. you must wait for a single 24 hours first to delete the char. After waiting for the single 24 hours, press the "del" button and you'll be prompted your e-mail. then, your char will be deleted.

It is probably not the solution, but perhaps that particular client doesn't support character deletion relay even though it should?

Have you tried it with higher clients?
