Cant use shortcuts in game

Hello.

I have this strange problem where i can log in properly everything runs properly for all my friends on the server. But on my client there is problem that i cant use any shortcut key or type on open chant box.. i cant even open f12 function.. key data is stored properly rest all works fine but this issue is on my side.

Can any help me out how to make this run. properly... i am hosting the server all my friends connecting on it there clients are running properly and game is running without any problem.

Are your key options setup correctly...also don't forget to tick "Enable Battlemode" in your options.

yeah i have checked it all completely... every thing is in order expect that icant use any keyboard function... cant even chat... expect some decides to pm by right clicking me..

Basically this issue started as whn i had runned my client the game would start at left hand corner of the pcin a small box.. so i tried open source ro setup after that the game worked by the shortcuts got a kinda stuck...

Well I did have that sort of problem once, all I did was update my lua files and client version and it got fine...but since you've mentioned that your friends' are working fine then check your data folder and see if there's any lua files folder...if so, delete it.

Tried deleting the lua folder but problem still exist...

i am using 2011 11 16 dated version

Perhaps you should use 2011-03-15 instead, never had any sort of problems while using it.

rediff your client make sure not to use read data folder first or load lua before lub

remove any of your lua files you have right now, and use the archive below
