kealzorz Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Just wondering if there's anyway to run an rAthena test server, or is it only sql? Quote
kealzorz Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Thank you, I'll stick with the latest eathena for now then, are the interchangeable? Like the way NPCs are, and basic setup for items/mob... or things updated in rAthena? Edited April 30, 2012 by kealzorz Quote
Syouji Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 According to Brian (Community & Forum Managers): just need a TXT version of rAthena Any revision before r15503. r15503: TXT save engine removed. ... wanna use all the latest stuff inorder to script more for when I do use Sql Using_rAsql So use any revision of rAthena before 15503 where TXT support was removed and you should be good to go. 1 Quote
Jezu Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 @kealzorz Bro, you can use rAthena when testing a server, just download rAsql and it will run smoothly like a TXT version. Quote
kealzorz Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Thank you everyone for the help! @Syouji: How do I download it from that site? Quote
Asura Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Hi kealzorz, If you are downloading with Windows, SVN Tortoise allows you to specify the revision number when checking out. Just specific a revision before '15503'. If you are downloading with Linux, you can just use this command... svn co -r15500 REPO_LINK_HERE Also, I think you should check out the rAsql as Jezu mentioned; it serves as an up-to-date replacement for TXT versions of rAthena. http://rathena.org/wiki/Using_rAsql Quote
kealzorz Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 Thank you so much for all the help! Much appreciated, think I should be about good to go. Quote
