Winz Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 anyone know why I got this error? I believe that this is the lua files error. but, I've put the latest lua files as well as the lubs. I got 2 clients. their simmilarities: -> Client date: 2012-04-10aRagexe -> installed lua and lub files: 2012-04-10 Lua and Lub files the differences: -> 1 client reads the LUA files first, then LUB files. -> the other client didn't get the "load lua files first" Please help me. Thanks in advance Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 it could be that you are putting it in a wrong directory. also if you have Lua before Lub diffed then you should put the src luafiles514 in your folder not the compiled one. Quote
Winz Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 hmm, but, I didn't get the SRC.. by the way, what do you mean by the last sentence? did you mean that I put the src on the 'data' folder, and the compiled ones on the GRF? then, how will I compile them? Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 you didnt get the SRC my Lub archives comes with src... what i said is if you use Lua before Lub use the luafiles514 in src folder if you didn't, use the normal luafiles514 Quote
Winz Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 oh, I got it.. (what did you mean and the src you were referring to). Otherwise, it still doesn't work.. Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 then you are doing it wrong. also if you have Read Data folders first then be sure you overwrite the files in that folder. if you didnt be sure to put it in your grf. Quote
Winz Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 @Earthlingz: nope, it's just the same, I've tried to put the LUA from the SRC folder to the 'data' folder and to the GRF, but it remains the same.. Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 are you sure that you are extracting it in the right folder? how are you extracting it by the way? please tell me the path of your luas Quote
Winz Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 @Earthlings: yes, I do. I've tested some ways: 1.) I put the SRC of the LUA to a grf and asked the clients to read it. both clients, those with and without "Load Lua files before Lub" have been started and both of them says the same error as the first one. 2.) I put the SRC of the LUA to the data folder, and deleted the grf (from the 1st attempt), and it resulted the same. 3.) I put the SRC of the LUA to BOTH data folder and grf, and it resulted also the same. hmm, please help me.. x_x Quote
Onesystem Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) i've got same problem this is my path C:UsersRagnarokOnlinedatalua files (lua files from src) In myro.grf is same too Edited April 25, 2012 by Onesystem Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 seriously data/lua files/ is not data/luafiles514/lua files Quote
SilverMayCry Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 it must be data/luafiles514/lua files/ On newer Clients , they read the Lua Files 514 folder First so you'll get lots of lua errors when you put data/lua files first that happened to me before Quote
Winz Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 all set, and I've just known that the it should be data/luafiles514/lua files . Thank you Otherwise, the client is error now, and now with another error. Now, it says: How will I solve this? I solved all of my client's issue. Thanks to all of you! Quote
Earthlingz Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Update your kRO to latest and that will be fixed. or http://svn6.assembla.com/svn/ClientSide/Lua_Project/System/ Quote
