I am able to hex the RAthena client with both Neo Hex Editor and OllyDbg to change the window text. However, following all guides that I have found they say to search for data.ini and replace it. Neither of those programs can find a data.ini. Any ideas?

Search for just "DATA" or ".INI"

If I recall correctly, the former of the two usually works for me.

I have searched over and over again. The only mention of data is a couple of times it will say data*. There is only one .ini and I don't think it had anything to do with data at all. I'm not at home right now or I could get exactly what it said.

There will only be a "DATA.INI" if you hexed your client with the option [Data](7) Enable Multiple GRFs.

Thanks for your reply. Multiple GRF's... That does make sense. So how do I take a premade client such as the RClient and enable to support multiple GRF's?

It's probably easier to hex your own client. (wiki: Hexing)

It is possible to hex a client that's already hexed, but trickier. You have to find the date of the client so you know which diff patch to use. Which topic did you get "RClient" from?

I tried over and over again to properally hex my own client. Failure... failure... failure... I could hex it, but when I tried to use it all I got was an empty box that popped up. I downloaded it from this site somewhere, I believe it was the latest version. Somebody gave me the link.
