Sir. what version of visual studio 10 u have ? Because on mine if i open up the rathena -10,it will open but my problem is i don't have that bar thing on the top to change to release , any idea how to get that bar and set it to release ??

It would be somewhere in "view".

But since no one seems to listen, I suppose I can answer your question.

You're getting those errors because your lua/lub isn't a full folder. I suggest trying to re-download/get a new copy.

The Ragnarok Online folder I have was downloaded directly from the official iRO website playragnarok.com.

I've downloaded it twice, once on my Laptop and once on my PC, they both get this error. Should I try downloading a Private Server's client and take the lua/lub's from that?

I follow your tutorials part 2 but still can't connect to the sever

My client patched from 2011-03-15aRagexeRE.exe and follow all yours steps in VDO

I made grf file from Alexandria data folder v.2 as name "TestAlexanda.grf"

I install Ragnarok Online from miruku client website

I edit DATA.INI

0=TestAlexanda.grf

1=data.grf

I changed mmo.h to 20110315 and I did rebuild as you said.

I have run on window 7. Someone in this board said to run my patched file as Administration,

when I run my patched file 2011-03-15aRagexeREpatched.exe

it said "refuse from sever" like in the picture.

I seems that it not allow me to create new ID with accound_id <2000000 in the database ? (in the picture)

Now I can log in with account id number > 2000000 but the name is yellow like GM ?

Hi, so I followed all of your instructions on the video tutorial. I made an account with a username and password the way you did and when I try to log in it says on C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe - logserv-sql.bat :

Notice: Authentication accepted <account: Enterprise. id: 2000000, ip: 127.0.0.1>

Status: Connection of the account 'Enterprise' accepted.

Info: Closed connection from '127.0.0.1'

The other 2 windows for the map and charserv are all like normal. No errors. I only get that one error from logserv.

I was wondering if you can help me get past it. I changed the data.ini file as well as the mmo.h file to the version that I have which is the same as yours.

NVM! I got it. I changed the clientinfo.xml in the data folder.

I don't know what is wrong with my RO. Before I had password problem, so I made MySQL Workbrench as no password. Then next came with root @ host <using password yes>. What should I do to fix the problem?

When I had password on my MySQL I had same word coming out root @ host <using password yes>. I did what you did on inter_athena txt. I don't know why that is coming out. What should I do to fix this problem?

sir . is we must have the Ro FOLDER ?since my VPS hard disk cant afford it.. btw i made client . but my ro is old EDITIOn . so if i open .exe the graphic option keep out and close

WOW guys, do slow down on the questions.. its like an interrogation room here.. I really pity Sharpienero coz as far as I know, he just made a very simple guide.. I know for some of you here are abit lazy on reading up things on the rAthena Wiki and stuffs but those things are important.. you can't rely on Sharpienero alone..

after you've diff-ed the client, paste it in your kRO folder.. if you just try to run it just like that after you've diff it, you'll get a bunch of DLL missing errors.. this is because its not placed in your RO folder.. make sure its there first before running it.. and I suggest that you get your server running well first.. you don't have to put the whole RO folder in the VPS.. just put the server.. for example, your client is on C:/Program Files/kRO/ and your server is on C:/rAthena/, just copy C:/rAthena/ and put it in your VPS.. you only need to run that on your VPS in order to host your server via VPS..

I don't know about Sharpienero but I suggest that you host your server from a dedicated computer which has a dedicated internet.. try using a VPS (Virtual Private Server) service.. VPS would supply a dedicated computer with dedicated internet so that your server would run more efficiently without any interruptions in connections or memory that your computer is using..

Guys before you start asking a shit load of questions FOLLOW THE VIDEO GUIDE THOROUGHLY.

Be sure to pay attention to everything he says. If you do that then Itll all be good. As for the Video 2010 thing get the professional version it works fine.
