I have downloaded the content mangement and the free fluxcp, i have tried to edit it but found it hard to rebuild into my own design. Can anyone help me to see where is all the code link to and build at?
XkAcY- Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 edit fluxcp/themes/default/header.php fluxcp/themes/default/footer.php fluxcp/themes/default/main/ fluxcp/themes/default/css/
Wynn_ Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Have you tried using the developer tools on your browser to search for the divs you want to modify? Just look for it on the header.php file for footer.php.
MelMel Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Hi XkAcY! Thanks for the reply. I have looked through all the folder you posted. The css and main folder i know how, but for the footer and the header, can i ask is it ok for me to remove all the link for the spacer? Will it affect any overall presentation of the webpage? Hi Wynn, I am using Dreamweaver to edit and code. I am just trying to rewrite most of those code that i know, I found that if i want to put my own design in it is very confusing. So i intended to change it to div. But how can i do that?
Wynn_ Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I wouldn't suggest you to do that, it'll be much more complicated to change the layout structure to div, if using tables is your problem you should try learning it. The developer tools helped me a lot when I was coding my first flux layout, I've never really used Dreamwaver so I can't say anything about it. Sorry if I'm not giving you any helpful information, I don't really understand what kind of help you need.
MelMel Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Wynn, could you tell me what developer tools you used and how you use them? Thanks for your reply.
Hyvraine Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Or you could just download a free theme and change it to your own liking. Most themes are made with DIVs
