The only thing I know is from LUA to LUB...is there any way to get LUb's to LUAs? This is what I have in my datainfo (credits to calciumkid for the Miruku client thing, which is what im using for this)

E5cnW.png

and inside the lubs is a really different format (i think) from the LUA accname and accessoryid...and i have no idea on how to add customs to the LUBs...unless it's the same as LUAs, here is how accname.lub looks like...

o_O help ... ? and i can't find like the application (.exe) to open Ragnarok.

I'll test this out myself later and let you know what happens.

Make certain your client is hexed to read lua before lub files, otherwise your edits to the .lua files aren't going to be read at all.

Second, make certain the sprites are in the correct folders WITH the correct file names.

Sprites must be in: ¾Ç¼¼»Ç¸®

Which contains two folders (for genders): ³² (male) ¿© (female)

In the male folder, prefix filenames with: ³²_

In the female folder, prefix filenames with ¿©_

Make certain you also have the .act files in the correct folders with the sprites. The image you posted...

http://i.imgur.com/GI6mM.png

Shows that the .act file is not in the proper location in the male gender folder.

Further, make sure your max view on the client supports view ID # 1202. I'd raise it to 2,000 personally.

I tested it out. Thank jTyne here.

Max view ID is 1000. Don't use anything over that.

Shin's Diff Patcher: http://rathena.org/board/topic/53420-shins-diff-patcher/

Increase View ID to at LEAST 2,000 so you have plenty of room for additional sprites.

Good luck!

Yeah, I didn't realize that until I talked to jTynne bout it.

Keim, diff your client using this

http://rathena.org/b...s-diff-patcher/

You can download it via TortoiseSVN. When you open it, on the drop-down menu select WeeDiffGenerator or something along those lines and look for the diff that allows you to increase your view id.

I did all that except "choose the diff that allows you to increase view id". How do I choose that? D: I'm sersiously pro noob doing these kind of stuff.

And thanks to everyone who helped me ^_^

In Shin's Diff Patcher (see my response for the link to download it; See Arc's on how to download it), go to the bottom of the program, and in the drop down menu, select the option that's not the default one. Then select the increase view ID patch, enter the number you want, patch, and voila. ^_^

You need to use an non-diffed client. I'll let you play scavenger hunt the rA forum for a link to a client repository. ^_^

Thanks Judas and jTynne. I'm going to try to add another custom and hope it works.

Edit: I set the ViewID to 2000, I put everything in the correct file (100%), but when I put it on a Gravity Error ^_^

http://supportmii.com/ro1/Clients/ <- Much more updated client list.

Use this one: 2011-11-16aRagexeRE.exe

Think it's the latest that I tried that was working.

You have to edit the view IDs in your item dbs. Also are you using SQL or TxT? Cause the view id is stored so you have to change those too.

Your viewid in your DB must match the view id in your lua files.

If you're using TXT, I suggest just deleting that character from your files in the save folder.

.__. Well, cant I just leave the other items and just match my custom items with the DB?

Anyway...still got no solution to my problem =( Looking everywhere but it's all a misplacement in the files which I don't have (for sure).

Just change the viewid part of your item db entries to match whatever you have in the lua.

For that character that is still erroring:

Say....If your cowring hat's view id before was 1000, once you equip that item that viewid is saved somewhere in your server files. Now say in your lua you change the view id of cowring to 2000, now if you try to log in the character equipped before with the cowring (saved in character data as viewid 1000), you'll get an error because the server stores your view id as 1000 for cowring instead of 2000. To fix this problem, you'd have to edit certain entries in your server files. I can't tell you right now exactly which since I'm not running txt. i suggest you look in your save folder though that lists all the characters and set the view id in there to 0.

Hopefully, that's easy to understand.
