LUB to LUA?

The only thing I know is from LUA to LUB...is there any way to get LUb's to LUAs? This is what I have in my datainfo (credits to calciumkid for the Miruku client thing, which is what im using for this)

and inside the lubs is a really different format (i think) from the LUA accname and accessoryid...and i have no idea on how to add customs to the LUBs...unless it's the same as LUAs, here is how accname.lub looks like...

o_O help ... ? and i can't find like the application (.exe) to open Ragnarok.

Try opening it with Notepad++

Also someone in the IRC the other night was saying that all you need to do is to rename .lub to .lua. Test it out?

Nop...Renamed to accname.lua . didn't take effect. tried it in notepad++, and a bunch of stuff came...This is accessoryid.lua (since i renamed but in ''Type'' it kept with .lub)

LUB to LUA is very difficult. If you already have the lua files I suggest you just use those.

There's no accname.lua or accessoryid.lua, only .lub and I have no idea how to add customs to .lub (If you even can).

ok...what do I need to open it? There's no like "Play" or "Ragnarok Online"...how do I open it? I have the ....-servers online but how do i open the actual game if theres no file to open it with?

I went on it but don't know how to make an admin account...and when I try to do USER_M it says "NO MSG (30)" and closes the client. Also when I click the client it says "[string "buf"]:10: attempt to call global Iter_getTable' (a nil value)" ....

Lubs are compiled luas.

You'll have to decompile them using luadec.

I tried it out, it works for some .lub files, for example, jobname.lub gave me an error.

It seems luadec does not work with the new 5.1 lua files neither (I don't now if the client use them anyways).

Which client are you using?

Miruku doesn't provide a client exe. It only provides the files that you need to play but not the .exe to run them.

Yea, that's why you gave me the link with the data and the RAthena.exe. Look back into the topic, the link you gave me was topic with download of the data folder, tip of the day and RAthena.exe

What did you put for your langtype and version in the clientinfo.xml?

Nope. Same error...I get different ones every time...Here's an image

I read that it's cause was the data folder being different version from client...or that my lua's didn't fit my client but that's nonsense because I extracted my rdata.grf

You don't need to extract anything from rdata.grf

Restart your client folder all over and do this

1. Download Miruku and install

2. Download rAthena Basic Data Folder and extract it to where you installed Miruku

3. Edit your sclientinfo inside the data folder

4. Run rAthena.exe..It should work without any problems.

You can get the lua files you need from rAthena Basic Folder if you're trying to add custom items in.
