Hello. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to explain me how can I put sprites (weapons in this case) to be in front of the body on specific frames?

As it is, weapon always stays behind the body and it looks pretty retarded having some sprites magically change hands from one perspective to the other /no1

Thanks!

DevilEvil is referring to the North West direction below the "Action" drop down menu in the program itself. The button is "BL" (Back Left). With that direction selected, you can add in frames to be displayed.

Erm... I do know how to change the direction in which the character is looking if thats what you meant, however the problem is that the weapon sprite is always behind the body (I just tried changing the direction just to be sure and I couldnt get the weapon to show in front of the body), unless I am being a total retard about this and if it shows behind the body on a back direction, it'd be in front of the body on a front view...

Is it displaying behind the character sprite in-game, just in actOR, or both?

Or am I just not understanding your question correctly? Could you provide us with screenshots of what you're talking about so that we may better assist you? Thank you.

That's normal from what I understand. It will display on top of the character sprite in-game. Welcome to the quirks of actOR.

I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. That option doesn't appear to be available in actOR2, however it is available in actOR(1). It only seems to show up if you have your actOR program as a small window. In the top left under the menu, you should see Change priority ref .spr..., click that. You can then change whether you want the head, body, neighbour, etc. at the front of the sprite or at the back. Never tried it with weapons though so, try it out and see if that works.
