Can't connect to CHAR_SERVER during installation

Question

Posted

Always getting this error:

[Error]: make_connection: connect failed (socket #7, error 111: Connection refused)!

I already tried changing/uncomment the default char_ip: 127.0.0.1 to VPS server ip but still getting this error.

All setup are still in default configuration char/map/login using s1 and p1 user/pass in database with S gender.

The port is also open or enabled char_port: 6121 in my firewall.

I already tried searching here for possible solutions but can't find any ways to resolve this issue. ?

Don't uncomment/edit anything on the ips on map/char and login athena. that should fix your problem

try to not change anything, and edit the inter-athena.conf part only for connection.
