Foob Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 content - ra is far ahead from herc however with regards to client functionality herc is far better. For most scenario like standard application of current rA, 2018-06-21 client will do the work but for some skills, items that are available you will not be able to use it. E.G. ultrahigh-itemID, expanded novice new skills and guild skills if ever. Quote

TheKingDino Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 I know I'm responding a bit late. But I've also recently looked into both, and I highly recommend rAthena simply because it has far more entries in its item database which has made it much easier for me in my quest to get my server up to date with kRO. As for the aforementioned problem with ultra high item IDs that can be fixed (Or so it has been working for me for a day or so now with extensive testing.) Maybe I overlooked something with Hercules? So I could go be wrong! Quote
