UPDATE:

I'm stupid and after a while I realized that the server put me on different named maps than my friends.
(izlude_b instead of izlude and similear stuff. Like I'm on a different channel.)
I could just @warp over to their map and we would see each other.

I actually didn't know this "channel system" just for the starting area was a thing, sry for everyone that I bothered with my question. xD
I just removed the different starting points from char_athena.conf.

Spoiler

Hey everyone!
After a long time I thought it would be nice to do a Lan session of Ragnarok with friends.
I downloaded the server, client, prepared everything, made some playtests to ensure there's no errors on the server and see that client works.
Everything was fine when I played on my own, here's the problem though:

I can't see them if they're connected, it's like they're playing on a completly different server.
They can see and interact with each other, do whatever they want and everything works.

The game works for me too, but I can't see them, they dont see if I write something in the chat and we have different mobs and drops on the map.
Spawned mobs won't show up on their map and neither won't items I drop. The same goes for the other way around.

The server shows that we all login, it updates everything normally on the database and no errors show up in the log or while playing.
We can send each other mails through RoDex but that's about it. xD

I guess it's a problem with my server setup or some IP/port related issues since I'm the one hosting the server and share the same address.
Since this wasn't a problem when we've done this around a year ago though, I guess that I did something wrong this time.

Does anyone have an Idea what could cause this and how to fix it? I've been trying around for a while now and nothing seems to change anything. xD
Thought about hosting it somewhere online but never done that before so I wouldn't even now what sites to look for there ;d
The wierdest thing about it is that we dont share the same mobs and items, cant get over that. xD

Okay ,

You can know your Address here : http://showip.net

For example thats your IP Address ( 1.1.1.1 ) ( You should assign your PC local ip to the main IP of your router to make anyone able to connect to your server in your local PC )

You should edit the char_athena  :

in line 24 [ //login_ip: 127.0.0.1 ] remove the " // " and type your IP Address ( 1.1.1.1 )

in line 37 [ //char_ip: 127.0.0.1 ] remove the  " // " and type your IP Address ( 1.1.1.1 )

then save the file [ ctrl + s ]

Then start edit the map_athena

in line 20 [ //char_ip: 127.0.0.1 ] remove the  " // " and type your IP Address ( 1.1.1.1 )

in line 33 [ map_ip: 192.168.178.29 ] only change to the IP Address ( 1.1.1.1 )

Then save and restart the server

try again and tell me the results ;)

Sadly I can't use my external IP Adress because I only have IPv6 and It seems like I can't assign/open ports over an IPv4 tunnel.
Since all of us are connected with the same router I tried using my internal IP, what normally worked, but got me to this problem this time around.

Thank's for the help though. :3
