Hello there, dali map is hexed in the Client with the stars background / sky.

If you want to have a map with that background, I suggest you create a map, then name it what you like but only 4 letters (D-A-L-I) then find the "dali" word in ragnarok client you use, hexing it using Hex Editor. (Follow this tutorial)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1guiHbIpdlk

If you're using client 2013-12-23 or 2013-08-07 or 2012 04 10, you can use the source from @curiosity

Hope this help you.

Have you tried inserting a hex string? This is not a method commonly practiced but, a long time ago, I managed to create sky effect maps without having to re-name an existing map. I have to admit it was rather tricky because there had to be sufficient spaces (#00) between the map names in order to properly work, but it might just work similar for the starry/space effect.

Worth a shot? Just, please, make a back-up in case it goes wrong. ^_^

I know the method in the video, but the map I made is for my friends, and perhaps not convenient to use hex modify the client, do you also know other methods?:D

I think no more other way to make like that except hex modify, correct me if I'm wrong.

Just want to know the way kRO made that ...

You can kind of fake it. There are textures that look black with stars and galaxys or something. I'm not sure if the plugin works with later clients- I've had trouble getting it to work. In any event, Here is an in-browedit and in-game screenshot of a map using those textures.

EDIT: Obviously this will never look as good as official weather effects but I assure you 99% of players would never notice it and this has the benefit of not needing to be hexed and replace an existing star map.

Thank you, Azura Skyy, but I prefer the night background to the twinkling stars rather than the fixed ones:D

Insert a string instead of a replacement? The client has a fixed length, and if the insert causes the client to go wrong, and insert how to know whether it's the sky or the stars? Please tell me more details, thank you!
