i use OVH you have to do everything yourself but its inexpensive and reliable.

Just complementing, if you dont have acknowledge in how to setup a machine, just select LAMP 1.0 as OS on OVH Panel. Its all you need to run a private server.

Thanks for responding. I do have a fair share of knowledge how to setup a server from scratch. However, I was really looking for a host that can have a pre-made server available since I'm only gonna use it for testing purposes. Still, thanks for the information, would definitely check it out and see if It'll be better to transfer my main server there.

@killercorpz dont make the mistake of buying a pre-made server host not to try and start anything here but you pay double if not more for a service you can get for alot less elsewhere i made that mistake and lost alot of information because of the lack of support.

well, that's true. however, I wasn't really looking to use this host as an actual game server. I wanted to have a cheap test server that I could just dive into. I won't be needing any additional services to it anyway.
