Пробовал в servers.php менять utf8 на cp1251, не помогло, комментировать Convert строку - не помогло. 'Encoding' => 'utf8', // Connection encoding -- use whatever here your MySQL tables collation is. У меня никаких проблем с переводом нет. База в UTF-8, новости на русском, текст с en_us.php переводится без проблем. И персонажи с русскими именами отображаются корректно.
