Initialized empty Git repository in /rofile/rAthena/.git/
error: Couldn't resolve host 'github.com' while accessing https://github.com/rathena/rathena.git/info/refs

If it helps, here's what I did to successfully clone the repo:

  1. Opened up Github for Desktop GUI
  2. On the https://github.com/rathena/rathena page, I clicked the green "Clone or Download" button, then pressed the "Open in Desktop" button

The main drawback to this method is that it required me to use the Github for Desktop app.

You shouldn't have /info/refs in your git url - not sure where you got that from. If you remove it from your git's profile you'll be able to carry on without errors.

The guides on the wiki give detailed instructions on how to obtain a copy of the repo - the install page seems to be the only wiki page that no one reads.
