Yes. If you are talking about the description on the headgear (normally for the A to Z quest headgear), most of the headgear descriptions are renewal. Need to manual change to pre-renewal. I don't know if all of those descriptions have been fixed. The effect in DB is ok; only the descriptions are using renewal.

Have you tried to change back the HD damage to original version? If the original damage font show the crit, that means the problem is your HD damage font.

and for conf file just use @reloadbattleconf

But, if it involve mapflag setting, I recommended you to restart your server.

remove novending mapflag from your map. Example; Prontera:
