Or you can use 7zip. It can make an executeable file plus it compresses the size. Been using that, from 200MB installer it goes down to 50MB

Yes I am exactly sure about it. I'm just using root as my username and the password is also correct. I tried connecting to mySQL Query Browser using my ip address which is : 112.207.3.203 and I can connect without any problems. I even tried connecting through telnet by using open 112.207.3.203 3306. I can connect without any problems. I also forwarded port 3306 on my lan IP 192.168.1.104.

How were you able to fix the problem? I am trying to solve the same problem too. But what I'm trying to do is making the host(cp) connect to the database on my pc at home. Port forwarded 3306 beforehand. So far, gumamit ako ng grant command sa mysql which is exactly like this.. grant all on *.* to 'my username'@'%' identified by 'my password'; so basically halos lahat dapat pwede na i-access yung database ko. But so far ayaw parin. I already commented out the bind-address line my.ini. I'm using MySQL Server 5.0. So far hindi parin nagana.

As far as I've heard, they do not allow remote connections on their mysql databases. But that isn't my problem as the database is on my PC. I just want to make ceres cp retrieve the information from my PC, for reading data, and making ceres cp write data (inserting).

Ok, nag-eerror kasi kapag ni-coconfigure ko ang ceres cp. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko i-allow permission yung webhost para ma-access PC ko. So far nka off naman lahat firewalls ko and ayaw parin mag-connect. Eto nga pala exact error..
