What client version are you using? According to the creator that's the only thing that should give you errors. You should probably PM him and ask for help. He's the only one that can really support his own product.

I'm pretty sure they are not related I remember that server back then. I can't recall exactly... but one of the first servers I ever played on was PucaRo? I think, but I was working with eAthena devs back then so there was a lot of different servers I was checking out. Still PucaRo was my favorite it was roughly 2004-05 that I played on it. It's long since died many years ago.

Tiny bit about me and my project. I'm an original eAthena developer and support. I long since left, quite some time ago and stepped out of the loop for a while to; go to school, get married, have kids, and even get a divorce. I graduated from UoP with a Bachelors in Game Art and Design and am 27 years old. So, it's called After Ragnarok I'm working on basically a rebuild of Ragnarok in general and have been for quite some time. It features entirely different stat systems, damage calculators, skill damage calculators, entirely new items from the ground up, entirely new mobs to match up with all the changes, entirely custom maps (no originals). The amount of stuff that's changed basically is never ending and list of features has no limits. I've got huge plans and quite frankly the time to do it, got injured and am being paid to sit at home for the next 3 months at least with nothing to do. I'm going to update this post with screenshots of maps and other changes I make along the way. (Which is why I'm creating it) ------CURRENTLY - Kind of recruiting some help and creating maps------ For now I'm kind of looking for people interested in throwing some spare time into testing things for me. This isn't a recruitment worthy post according to the rules. Anyone who helps test at this stage will of course receive consideration for GM's, Contributors, Awards, or quite possibly anything that comes avail to the server. Send me a pm if you're interested or leave a reply I suppose. Can't wait to share my work in the future!

Unfortunately, very doubtful. The calculations are managed in a completely different way and on an entirely new system. If you check out the wiki for Ro2, even how stats works is different. The maps are actually coded an entirely different way as well it's not the same system. You'd honestly have to start from scratch reading, coding, and breaking down everything, just like we did with eAthena when Ro private servers started. It's a massive process that takes a lot of people and a lot of commitment to create software to run an entirely new game. You have people commited enough with the knowledge, you could do it though. As far as I'm aware there isn't anything currently making it impossible to create an Ro2 software. (Could be wrong)

No it does not. Simply put the source is substantially different and wouldn't really do anything if you tried.

What exactly is your question? What are you trying to do? You're being extremely vague.

If you're still having the issue than its source problem which I'm nor familiar with homun source codes.

I've heard one group claiming to have created software but they are still refusing public release or help. (That's after hours and hours of researching and contacting old eAthena friends from 10-ish years ago) If you ever think you've found one that isn't based on the old Ro2, it is a scam and i highly recommend not doing anything on one of their websites.

Yah I'm working on compiling a guide now to post that is literally just resolved around this issue! Just trying to confirm that after updating and modifying a few things it is still working.

I'm really curious to if you ever resolved this issue. I've been going through the exact same thing for the last couple days and have tried countless diff options with Diff Patcher and Nemo, Loki and Rolex, unpatched clients from dates ranging 2012-04 to 2013-12 and patched clients, complete different data folder translations or no translations, updated and not update brand new kRo installations. The client crashes every single time it opens no matter what. But I've loaded and played on almost 20 different private servers in the past couple weeks that launched and played fine. I'm at a loss for this one. EDIT:Hey if you come back to this topic, I fixed this issue finally. If you're still needing help with it, I'd love to help you out.

So what is the actual difference between the rAthena-9, rAthena-10, rAthena-12, and rAthena-13. I can't find any real information without actually breaking each one down individually. Is it the episode that build is in? or just a developmental revision number?
