    Can't connect to CHAR_SERVER during installation

    I already tried changing/uncomment the default char_ip: 127.0.0.1 to VPS server ip but still getting this error. 

    All setup are still in default configuration char/map/login using s1 and p1 user/pass in database with S gender.

    The port is also open or enabled char_port: 6121 in my firewall.

     

    I already tried searching here for possible solutions but can't find any ways to resolve this issue. ? 

    Don't uncomment/edit anything on the ips on map/char and login athena. that should fix your problem

    This is why talented developers like @meyraw have stopped working on their projects since we condone spreading other people's work. To be honest, he has the right to do so regardless of the price meyraw set because he is the one who developed it. Its not mandatory for everyone to purchase it but only those who wish to avail. What I'm trying to say is we should never support distributing the works of other just for our own benefits.
    Let's support Legit developer who contributed their works for our beloved game.

    after that then this :

     

    type: gcc --version

    "if you install gcc version upper than 4.8 you need to type this:
    type this :"

    scl enable devtoolset-7 bash

    the no 7 represent your gcc version it depends in what version you are using , you can check it by typing  gcc --version
     

    then 

    ./configure
    make clean
    make server

    Im using xterm for vnc, devtoolset-7 doesnt work in xterm this is why i manually install the preferred gcc version for rathena
