Dolphin86 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 for somehow thor patcher did not generate my files correctly as you can see on the picture coloured text are the actual file name. Could someone help me on this issue im using Thor_Patcher[2.6.4.8] that is the lates right? Quote
Tokei Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 This usually means you picked the wrong encoding while making your Thor patch! You can verify this by opening up the Thor patches in GRF Editor. If they don't show up with their proper names then the patch is indeed invalid. While making the patch, if the files have Korean characters you have to select "Unicode". Otherwise you need to select "Ascii". Example : If that doesn't help, you could always make your patches directly with GRF Editor and see if you get different results (invalid encodings are automatically fixed). (File > Save as... > .thor; "Container options" > Patching mode > Merge into GRF > Target GRF : "server.grf" or leave empty). Hope this helps! Quote
moraru Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 had similar prob, and now I patch the grf directly only way to solve it at least for me.Seems that thor cant handle the korean characters and corrupts the files or dosent copy them all. Make grf from ur datafolder and patch it directly even if it says is not recomendated, works for me. Quote
