For now it is only the front view, i wanted to get some feedback before starting on other angles. The fire sparkles above it's head could get some refinement, though. Try using different tone of red and orange to make it a little more lively. Keep up the good job. Lastly, i know the colors a bit strong, any idea how to make it less..... standing out without wrecking the looks?? For the outlining, I usually use a darker tone of the same color (in your case, that would be a dark orange). It's unfortunate you removed the dragon head, though. I liked the concept. EDIT ~ I tried making an darker version, it feels a bit more natural to me. ( love the "real" red from the left side but don't know how to shade it properly ). EDIT 2 ~ Tried making another dark color which seemed to work too. Heres is my most recent attempt trying to get the dragon to look down .It is somewhat different from the ones above. It's quite good, but it doesn't blend too well

Taken from the color table I sent you. The fire animation could get some refinement, but it's already a lot better compared to your first attempt. I wouldn't have done better. I personally preferred when it had 3 frames : Edited August 5, 2014 by Fanoe

Man have you come a long way so far. I like that you have the tail actually away from the sprite. What I dont like is how dark the WHOLE sprite is, its hard to see the eyes. But really you've done really great so far, esp from what your first sprite looked like! =]

The circular motion of the fire is also a lot neater.

Added the color table that i used for this dragon.

I was thinking also, this scarf wraps around most of the body. How odd would it look when your characters are attacking or sitting?

That wouldn't be a problem since she can make specific frames for those actions. I'm unsure about the riding characters, though. Only way to know : try it ! However, if this can help, I noticed that most of the time, the frames were practically the same. The main difference is that what on the front is lower and what is on the back is higher.
