Can't get client 2013-08-07 to open, please help

Hello!

I have search through the forums and trying everything that I can. I cannot seem to get my 2013-08-07rag.exe to open. I have been able to open with 12-04-10aragexeRE.J.exe, but because this cilent doesn't let me add more hairstyle, I decided to use 2013-08-07.

This is what I have so far...

I have tried changing the cilent version in clientinfo to 30 instead of 26.

I have also tried using Loki Launcher.

 

I have the updated pack_db.txt

could it be my mmo be the problem?

 

Thanks a head of time for any helpful hints! I really want to have more hairstyle in my RO, but the older cilent just won't show it.

Thank you! It's all been solved now! I am not really sure what was wrong. But using http://rathena.org/board/topic/95461-2013-08-07-client-how-to-enable-licence-screen/#entry257886, and some updated luafiles and translating files (not using grf) worked!

Also, did you diff your client? which diffs did you applied?

Also, did you diff your client? which diffs did you applied?

I will try using 45, I saw on the forums someone used 30 with the same client.

I have changed it to 45, and also in the patch_db, i changed default to 45, along with the cilent info, still it does not launch. I tried my old client just to see if it'll open, and my old client does open just can't get into the game b/c it is the wrong client. There were no error inside the CMD for map, login, and character.

For client 2013-08-07, You can either use xDiff Patcher or NEMO Patcher.

 

If you want to use Loki Launcher:

  • Enable SSO Login Packet
  • Disable Cancel to Login Window
  • Disable Restore Login Window

 

If you don't wanna use Loki Launcher:

  • Disable SSO Login Packet
  • Enable Cancel to Login Window
  • Enable Restore Login Window

 

I never used HKLM to HKCU as I don't know what it does.

Thank you! I believe my grf files are messed up, so it the client didn't work. In fact my old client now doesn't work, I wished I had made a back up file. Thank you! I will fix my grf and then try the client again.

What do I put for load location of lua before lub? It asks me for the input, but I don't have iteminfo.lua. I don't remember what server revision I am using, I would have to check.

It still won't launch. I used Loki launcher and the normal 2013-08-07aRagexe_patched.exe and still didnt launch. I use xDiffPatcher.

I have SVN Revision is 17704, and I thank you for using your time to help me /no1  ! Also on the server side there was no error or any sign of log in.

I have just tried that, still nothing loads, is it possible for someone to upload me their 20130807 client that works so I can try using that?

And I have tried using the grf with later 20120410 client and it works but stops me after login because it's not 45, so this means it's not the grf problem.

Thank you for uploading a client for me to try. But it still doesn't launch. I have tried to use an older client to make sure that the grf isn't the problem.

I have changed mmo.h, change clientxl, packet db is up to date till 45. I tried using just the client and loki launcher and R.O.Lex, and everything is up to date. I have Clean and Build too.

the client doesn't lunch if you have too complete kRO  data or incomplete kRO data

 

delete / backup all of your dll files then extract dll and the setup
