Hi guys,

 

Do we have a script here that will prevent players from saying FOUL LANGUAGES?

 

- If they say like " BITCH " there message will not be seen or cannot be typed.

 

or if they say " BITCH " it will be replaced by the word " I LOVE YOU "

 

is it possible?

add it to manner.txt inside of your data folder

but this should only work AFTER they send the message right ??

in that case... other player will be able to view the  foul language messages instead of replaced messages or blocked it..

 

based on what he wanted, probably the manner.txt will be best for him ..

yeah, but certain players who knows how to hex their client will know how to connect to the server using their own hexed client ..
I never trust manner.txt because its at the client side...

editing clif.c file to prevent sending packets inside clif_parse_GlobalMessage, clif_parse_PartyMessage... and the like
will definitely ensure they have no way to bypass this sytem

if not convinced I could make a diff like this anytime =/
