I know harmony has this feature. But I don't want to attach harmony to my server.. Plus harmony is expensive enough if I only wanted this getmacaddress().. His usage of the function getmacaddress() is purely pseudocode. Currently, there is no known method to retrieve a MAC address without Harmony, as Harmony's software and plugins are used to manipulate the client into sending the user's MAC address. What i meant is that the topic starter can have that as an alternative solution for his problem since he want to retrieve a mac address without harmony which is unable to be processed at the moment.
