So how will I able to see/monitor what's happening to my server on putty without restarting the server again to see the initialization log?

use screen when you go ./athena-start

to install screen: yum install screen

command for screen: screen -DR

to exit: ctrl + A + D

Basically it will saves your last session in screen.

When your start the serv, just do a ./athena-start start > log.txt

You can read your log.txt when you want to :)
