I recently moved over to a new host AsuraHosting, so I backup my SQL tables and moved them over to the new SQL.

However when I go to change the SQL server ip in the config/servers.php for FluxCP I get this error.

Error

An error occurred while trying to process your request.

Please try contacting an administrator: admin@localhost

Like I said, I am using a identical copy of my old working tables and my new VPS has no problems with the new tables. Only FluxCP.

Is there any other place besides config/servers.php that I have to edit for the new IP or does anyone know what is causing this.

 Get sure your hoster has opened the ports to your new ip (if you have your website on AsuraHosting as well i would just contact them and ask)

Create a user that will match with the credentials on your servers.php.

The website is actually hosted on HostGator but the SQL tables are on Asura, would there still be any port problems if I was only relying on Asura for the SQL? As hostgator had no problems connecting to the old SQL host.

Create a user that will match with the credentials on your servers.php.

I have already done that, that is how my rAthena server is able to work with the new SQL.

Ok thank you, would you happen to remember which ports need to be opened?

Wouldn't the ports be already opened if rAthena could connect through them? Just wondering.

You could try deleting all the folders in data/logs and the files in data/tmp except for the index.html

can you post some Screen Shots?

set the error.php first to true for us to know what is the error.

Open config/error.php

Find this line

$showExceptions  = false;

set it to this

$showExceptions  = true;
