Hi,

Im having a problem with my eathena emulator right now,
I start it, and it can be running for days, and suddenly something
fails, and when my users try to log it says, "Rejected From Server". I
check in the Flux Cpanel, and it says char, map, login online, And it
displays an amount of users online, but isn't true, then I just can't
log in until I restart the entire emulator.

I already tried changing of host thinking that my server was going down for some seconds, and still nothing.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hello irvingsp,

Ragnarok Online Server Emulators will regularly ping the assigned MySQL server to prevent connection loss when there are no player in the server. Unfortunately, when this has been "too much", either the Ragnarok Server Emulator or the MySQL will get "bored". The "Players Online Number" inside FluxCP seems to be a kind of cache, or a saved item. When you see that all of the servers are online in FluxCP, it is definitely true because FluxCP pings to your servers. (your.server.ip.address:6900 -> login server, 6121 -> char server, 5121 -> map server).

It is a natural thing to happen (my own experience). If you would like to know about the error thing, you may do:

./athena-start start >> athena.txt 2>&1 &

This will print out everything displayed (when you usually do ./athena-start start) to a file named "athena.txt"

you may download it through WinSCP and see the logs there.

Have a nice day!

Is there any thing to do to prevent this?  And is it possible that the 70-100 users that are online in that moment, are a kind of cache?

The "cache" i meant was a "temporary, offline, outdated number". sorry for the confusion.

you can prevent this by making sure that there is (at least) one active connection on the server (1 character is there and moving / doing something)

Winz, but Im almost sure, that sometime fails when there are some people logged. Is that the only possible failure? I saw something about cleaning the sc_data table can help to solve the problem, but I don't know... sounds kind of stupid. Anyway Winz thanks a lot for your answers, hope you can help me.

Was not able to produce this event. 5 days w/o anyone online, and server was constantly on. Maybe you are getting a crash incident?
