I humbly ask for the knowledge on how to duplicate an existing map. For example, if I want 2 maps of prontera in my server, how am I gonna be able to do it?

Uh... It would probably be easier to just download BROWEdit, configure it to correctly point to your .grf's and then open the map via the GRF. Then use Save As to make the copy. At least, that's how I'd do it.

its easy man..

1st. open your data.grf. the large grf data size 1.5 gb.

extract and find the prontera.rsw, prontera.gat, prontera.gnd, prontera.extra.

2. download Browedit. and import the copy prontera.rsw

3. rename the prontera, to other name. such as, healthdude.rsw  using browedit.

4. (u know how add custom map right)

5. Good luck man..  /lv

Here's what i do...

I add the new map name in my resnametable file. Then i just update my mapcache with weemapcache using that resnametable. Then server-side i update my maplist with the copied map names. You don't actually need a separate map file to duplicate a map. Just utilize your resnametable. I've been using this method for awhile and it works fine. This way I don't end up with a big grf file for my server just because of duplicate maps.
