The server is hosted on a remote VPS.
Adding the 127.0.0.1 didn't do anything, but thank you for taking the time to reply, especially since you're apparently from my heart.
The problem was that there was a firewall running. If anyone is having this issue, PM me and I will tell you what worked for me.
