As much as I'd like to say that fixed my problem....I don't have those files in my data folder or my GRF.

I tried to copy the prontera map from both data.grf and rdata.grf to where my client reads from and nothing changes...any other ideas? @_@

Look for the files above, and remove them in your server GRF or data:

*data/prontera.rsw

*data/prontera.gnd

*data/prontera.gat

*data/texture/ÇÁ·ÐÅ׶ó <-- All files

*data/texture/Çʵå¹Ù´Ú <-- All files

Usually the most Prontera Christmas Editions out there are editions of those files I listed. By removing them in your GRF you will go back and use the Gravity default ones.

Alternatively, in case it doesn't works, look for this download and try it out --- http://rathena.org/b...-texture-files/

Perhaps you have a custom GRF with the christmas files besides the one you are editing.

Look at your 'DATA.ini' file and look for the list of the GRFs your client is reading. Then, look for the files I mentioned inside each one. (except of data.grf and rdata.grf of course)

Honestly, I'm running 3 GRFs(Right now) so in my data.ini I have...

0=MyServersPalletteGRF

1=rdata.grf

2=data.grf

and in my data folder there isn't any of those files. So I don't quite know of any other possible solutions.

THey have to be somewhere.

Excuse me but at first I thought you were refering of prontera. But you mean, all towns? in that case you have to hook into your GRF for all those frost textures you have in there, and remove each.

Do you have data/etcinfo.txt

if not add a txt file named etcinfo.txt

and remove the content of etcinfo.txt

@Olrox will updating kRO files remove that anyway? Obviously I would need to remake the mapcache.

@pqrk I tried that and nothing happened.

Probably. I can't think another possibility more than your kro is somewhat modified with a christmas event pack.

I don't know why it would be....I downloaded it from RMS and just updated it like normal though the RSU exes.

Edit: Here's some examples of what it looks like...it looks like official stuff nothing user created.

Also remember it's reading this stuff from the rdata.grf and data.grf so it's really not something someone created.

That is the official christmas pack =P

If you are sure that you dont have that pack added by yourself in a custom GRF or data directory, then, just update your kro.

Moreover, probably there is a christmas event ongoing by default with your kro files, so perhaps, even with updating all your stuff that event will not dissappear. In that case, the only option is, to add the default maps manually in a GRF and make your client read it.
